Cementitious Material for 3D Printing is Here!

3D Potter has partnered with Sika to create a unique, specially formulated 3D printing cementitious material.

We have utilized our Scara Elite in conjunction with Sikacrete® 3D printing cement, developed by Sika USA. This versatile and convenient method allows for the printing of large-scale vessels and architectural structures, including houses.

The Scara Elite boasts features such as printing multiple objects nonstop. Additionally, the Elite can pump up to 3.5 gallons of material per minute through 85 feet of 1″ hose when paired with a strong pump.

Happy Customers

“I just wanted to send you a note of gratitude for being a great company and offering awesome service when trouble shooting, parts, or repairs are needed. I’m not sure if you often hear back from customers but wanted to let you know that the printers are being well used by students here at Lakeside. The new, larger anti-rotator shaft you sent us for one of our 7pros seems to be a great modification.”

– Jacob Foran
Visual Arts Dept. Faculty
Lakeside Upper School

“It is very useful and helpful to make the absolute beginning of the process all the way up to finished the printing and include samples. And it is great that you can put together a group of videos that address all the recurring items you have Maintenance problems with. You totally solve our problems. Thanks for much. It is so great to work with you. You are so brilliant.”

-Christy

“I can’t recommend them highly enough! There are many reasons this company’s products are so good for the classroom:

1. You are starting with real clay, not slip, so the prints don’t fail.
2. The machine is so quiet, you can run it all day long during other, unrelated, classes (this is also good for the students to see it operating, and want to sign up for the class).
3. If you order extra tubes and nozzle holders, you can replace the “extruder assembly” in minutes, and go right back to printing.
4. These printers do not use compressed air. The footprint of the printer is small and self-contained.
5. The quality of the machine and components are top-notch! I used my printer until I retired in 2019 and I understand it’s still printing.”
