When received, the motor driver will be set to mode 4 (motor stays on until telling it to stop), and the the display will show the motor RPM when the pulse/revolution switches are set to 800. When a direction is pushed, the motor will run continuously until told to stop. Speed can be adjusted live as the motor is running. When stopped, pressing the dial down will save the current speed setting. There are many other functions available that control how the motor operates.
